Psoriasis Society - A donor's perspective

I first developed psoriasis at the age of 14 years. I became very unhappy with the way my skin

looked.  It did cause problems in High School. I learned early on that I had to learn to live

with psoriasis or I would never be able to cope with life.  I did overcome my attitude

when I joined the Army.  Later on in life I learned to accept my psoriasis and move on.

I have learned to be optimistic about the future and believe if you can accept what has been

given to you – you will be a happier person.
